Easy Envelope Bookmarks

Calling all bookworms out there! Are you tired of losing your page in your favorite book because your bookmark keeps falling out? Look no further! We have a super easy and fun craft that will solve all your bookmark problems. Not only will it keep your place perfectly, but it also allows you to add a personal touch to your reading experience.

All you need are a few supplies:

  • An envelope

  • A pair of scissors

  • Markers or crayons

To make your bookmark: Step 1: Draw an "arch" shape on the bottom corner of an envelope. Take an envelope and place it on a flat surface. Choose the bottom corner of the envelope where you want to make your bookmark. Then, draw an arch shape on that corner using a pencil or a pen. The shape should be about 2-3 inches in length, depending on your preference. You can make it a half-circle, a semi-oval, or any other shape you like. The arch should be large enough to fit comfortably over the corner of a page in your book.

Step 2: Cut along the arch to create your bookmark. After you have drawn your arch, use a pair of scissors to cut along the line you just drew. Cut carefully and make sure to follow the shape of the arch. You should end up with a bookmark that has a rounded bottom edge.

Step 3: Decorate and personalize your bookmark. This is where you can get creative and make your bookmark unique! You can use markers, crayons, stickers, or any other crafting materials you have on hand to decorate your bookmark. You can write your name, draw a picture, or use different colors to make it stand out. Let your imagination run wild and have fun with it!

Step 4: Place it in your favorite book and read worry-free! Now that your bookmark is complete, you can use it to mark your place in your current book. Just slide it over the corner of the page where you left off, and voila! Your bookmark will hold your place securely, so you won't have to worry about losing it or having to flip through the pages to find where you left off. Happy reading!
